Metatron: Greetings! It is lovely to be able to commune with you once again. You have had a lot on your plate recently, but it is now time to resume the task at hand.
Whilst you have experienced many changes; some are for the better. You are becoming more and more aware of the subtle ways you and your energies are changing.
Jill: the main change being the way I have changed with my food and drink, I suppose?
Metatron: Well yes, it is natural that as your energies change, so does the requirements of your body. We are amused, by the human’s ability to constantly change direction with information about nutrition. First one thing is good for you and then another month rolls by and it is bad.
How often have we spoken of duality?
Jill: Many! Why?
Metatron: The same ruling applies to your food, lifestyle and health. We have said before, that illness is created by mankind. It's amazing that humans do not put an end to the destructive cycle they themselves have created. When you’re ill, you visit your doctor. Your doctor makes a diagnosis and gives you a piece of paper that allows you to obtain drugs that you think will make you better.
Jill is that wrong?
Metatron: Not entirely. Doctors are valuable. That’s why they were created. However, they do not address the main cause, which is diet, digestion processes and exercise. Your diet has to be balanced. But not in the way you have been taught.
First and foremost, you are energy yes?
Jill: Yes, but what does that have to do with it?
Metatron: You should be teaching people to balance the energies that they consume. 'Your' energies have elevated, hence you require light food, which is easily digestible.
Jill: So that’s why I’m not interested in meat. Thanks a bunch. I used to love chicken.
Metatron: You say that as though it is 'I' that has changed your diet. 'I' haven’t. 'You' have. You are beginning to listen to your body. When I say balanced, you have to balance the energy (i.e. the food's energy too). One-sided energy is bad for your body. What I mean by that is, if you have something on your plate that grows underground, you must also balance it with something that is grown above ground. Everything you put into your body has the potential to poison or give nutrition. It is the quality and the mix of food, which affects your body.
We understand that your ingrained eating habits cannot be altered overnight, but if the human race wants to survive and experience long lasting life, it is time to return to the old ways. The human race has altered its natural digestive rhythms. You race around, either skipping meals or grabbing whatever is on offer and yet you fail to STOP and consider what you are putting in your mouth; and the results that such instant gratification will yield you.
You wonder why you have cancer in the world. If you look at bowel cancer, this is because you have put into your body unbalanced foods that together, have remained in your bowels too long, so that toxins have built up and been reabsorbed by the body. It is imperative that you learn to listen to your body,
It is not a question of ridding yourself of fatty food, sugars, protein. Is it a delicate balance in 'what' you eat and more importantly, the quality. Food can be the 'prevention' to illness, not the cause, if you would learn to address the vicious cycle you find yourselves in.
Jill: That’s easy said, but how?
Metatron: Glenn often talks about the starfish. I know he’ll happily place it into this section here.
Glenn: Thoughts... This is the point that I just got to reading and correcting, as is the dual role between Jill and I. She channels and I correct all the spellings and grammar; so any of those mistakes are mine. So it can be disconcerting to get to a point like this, to find that Metatron has foretold the future.
So! Here's the story.
A man was walking his dog along the beach of a large lagoon area. The previous night had seen a violent storm on land and sea. The sea had washed up millions of starfish onto the beach at the edge of the water. They were piled high. They were all dying through lack of water.
The man came upon a young boy who was picking up starfish and throwing them out into the sea. The man was intrigued. He greeted the young boy and asked, "I'm curious son, what are you up to?"
The boy replied, " I'm saving the lives of these starfish."
The man looked at the vast piles of starfish along the beach. The piles were so long that they faded off into the distance. He was concerned for how the boy would finally feel when he eventually would realise the futility of his task, and said, "What's the point son. There's millions of them. What difference can 'you' make to all these starfish?"
The young boy stopped for a moment and frowned. Then, it was if you could here the cogs in his brain whirring around; he looked back at the man, smiled, picked up another starfish, threw it way out into the sea; and said sternly, "Made a difference to 'that' one!"
The moral of the story: Every journey starts with one step. How do you eat an Elephant? One bite at a time! You have to start somewhere; and if you persist, you'll make it happen.
Metatron: The same can be said for humans. Teach your children the ancient way of eating.
Jill: I don’t know how. I may be middle aged, but I’m not ancient.
Metatron: I will help you. To return to your ‘natural’ eating habits means going back way beyond what you would perceive as ancient.
First let us consider quality. The quality of your food is where many make the first mistake. You have to consider the energy of the food you are obtaining. Perhaps I should ask you a question for a change. Why is it that humans do not measure the cost, when it comes to food and nutrition?
Jill: I don’t understand; do you mean how much we spend on food?
Metatron: No, the true cost of food. Let us look at a lettuce. You can grow a lettuce outside, by tendering to it, caring for it, without chemicals and allowing mother nature to take it’s course. You end up with a nutritionally and energy balanced lettuce that feeds your body and does not harm your environment.
Alternatively you can buy a lettuce that has been forcefully grown, showered with chemicals and pesticides which have poisoned the earth; and which has relatively any nutritional value. Which in turn, causes the body to process this item as poison and therefore bring upon the body, over a period of time, illness. Which then requires further chemicals to alleviate the symptoms. And if those same chemicals don’t work, you end up hospitalised, costing yourself and your fellow human beings millions of pounds.
Jill: Yes I do see your point, but organically grown produce is very expensive, and most people can’t afford to buy it.
Metatron: Yes they 'can' afford to buy it; they choose 'not' to buy it. You all choose 'not' to protest to the food companies about the illnesses they are causing. You all choose 'not' to ask what damage these said companies are doing to you, your home, your world and your children and family. You are idly sitting by and being slowly poisoned and not doing anything about it? Wherever you find cheap food on offer, I can assure you it has come at a cost to the environment or some other poor human who has been exploited.
It is not those who produce these poisons that pay the price, but you and the planet. Eating less of natural, as you say, organic, products, actually feeds your body more than eating twice the amount of food which is forcefully grown and overflowing with chemicals.
Only when one by one, do you all stop buying this type of produce, will you effect change and begin to break the cycle.
God created everything that you and your body needs. Let us look at one of mankind’s staple diets:- bread. Bread was originally made with spelt flour. The energy contained in the tiny husks of wheat is one of the highest qualities of energy that feeds your body, yet it is no longer used. Instead, you have been brought up to expect white bread, that has been bleached, which results in no energy and therefore no nutrition.
Herbs provide an abundance of medicinal properties, yet very few people incorporate them into their diet. Again, the quality of the herbs is important. Growing herbs in a garden or a window box will reap your body many rewards. Returning to balance, if you have root vegetables on your plate, it is important that you look to sprinkling herbs onto them.
Look at the 'way' in which you eat, and the mixture of items that are combined in front of you. The Eastern ways of eating food is more naturally aligned with your energies. By this I mean, raw vegetables first, followed by fruit and nuts, then cooked foods, and lastly protein.
If when you have eaten you feel completely heavy and tired, you have eaten something that does not agree with you and your body is asking you to realise this.
Jill: I thought it was because your energies are focused on digesting the food, and this was what made you tired.
Metatron: Yes some of your energy does go to breaking down the food, once it has entered the stomach, but it shouldn’t completely sap all your energy.
Let us go back to spelt wheat, as I know Glenn will relish finding proof to my conversations with yourself.
Glenn: thoughts... 'that' is so irritating, and yet at the same time, comforting: Jill has just put the dictionary back on the shelf, after I asked her what spelt was. She had no idea, so we looked it up in the dictionary. It was the original wheat strain which is no longer used for bread because it's been cultivated with other strains, presumably for commercial needs.
Metatron: If you research, you will find that spelt wheat suits everyone’s palette, those who suffer with intolerances such as gluten, will find their bodies can easily digest spelt. Begin to research and you will find in biblical and medieval times, the main ingredient in bread was spelt. This is why it is known as the 'staff of life'.
The staple food was bread. But the real reason for this, was the energy within the spelt that aids, and is of benefit to human energy. Only when humans look at the energies of the foods they eat, will they find obesity a thing of the past, along with illness.
We have talked for some considerable time, and I know you are eager to continue, but for now, I hope you will digest (laughing) the seriousness of what we have spoken about. Take time to consider, when you are buying your food, what it is costing 'you', your family and your home, the planet, before you purchase what you initially see as a cheaper alternative.
Blessed be!
Metatron
Glenn: We thought it important to do some research on spelt:-
Grain and Flour - Organic Spelt (A Gourmet Grain)
Spelt is the forerunner of modern wheat, with a unique nutty wheaty flavour. Think of the taste difference between a bland Golden Delicious Apple and a tasty Russet Apple. Then imagine an equivalent difference in flour and you will want to sample the intense wheaty flavour of spelt.
Reference to spelt can be traced back over many centuries, even though it is not a familiar food to modern cooks. Try using it in any recipe calling for wholemeal flour and enjoy the great flavour of this ancient wheat variety.
Spelt contains more protein, fat and fibre than wheat. It also contains special carbohydrates called mucopolysaccharides, which play a decisive role in stimulating the body’s immune system, helping to increase its resistance to infection. Due to spelt’s high water solubility the grain’s vital substances can, like liquid nutrients, be absorbed quickly by the body.
Many have commented that foods made from spelt have a superior ability to satisfy hunger.
Spelt and Special Diets
There is much interest in the suitability of spelt in various allergy diets. From the ancient medicinal healing texts of St. Hildegard to modern American studies, the special nutritional properties of spelt have been considered beneficial. This is because the easy digestability of spelt means that its natural nutritional elements vital to body maintenance are quickly released.
It is high in gluten but can be tolerated by some gluten intolerant individuals. Allergy sufferers should introduce spelt gradually into their diets under medical or dietetic supervision.
A Grain From The Past
There is documentary evidence that spelt was cultivated by several ancient civilizations both in Europe and Asia, following its early origins in the fertile Middle East. This means that the unique characteristics and special qualities of spelt were highly valued and traders carried the sought after spelt grain to communities far and wide. Preserved grains have been found throughout Europe, including Britain, in many stone age excavations.
Spelt is mentioned in the book of Ezekiel in the old Testament. It was a major cereal crop for the Roman Empire and several recipes referring to spelt were written by the Roman epicurian, Apicius. In the 12th century the abbess Hildegard of Bingen wrote about the restorative qualities of spelt in her Causa Medica and Gerards Herbal, written in 1597, also refers to Spelt.
The exact history and origins of the grain itself are complex and confused. As there are no records of spelt being found naturally in the wild, its origins lie in early agricultural practices involving the intentional cross pollination of grasses by the earliest farmers. The parentage of spelt is attributed to a cross pollination between emmer wheat (latin name; triticum dicoccoides) and goat grass (aegilips squarrosa).
Spelt grain (latin name; triticum spelta) comes from the same genus as common wheat (triticum aestivum). It is a hexaploid wheat with 42 chromosomes and several distinctive physical and nutritional characteristics, that differentiate it from the common wheat grown today.
These unique characteristics were key to the popularity of spelt, which was widespread until the industrial revolution. Developments in agricultural methods, engineering, and animal husbandry, led to the widespread preference for common wheat (which was easy to thrash) and the fall from popularity of spelt.
Gluten Content
Spelt is an excellent bread making flour, with good quality gluten, and an intense flavour. It is particularly suited to quick breads which are characterised by a firm crust and crumb structure that is open yet dense.
The gluten of spelt flour is of a different type to the gluten found in ordinary wheat flour. Spelt gluten imparts its own distinctive characteristics during bread making and has a unique amino acid protein profile.
Baking With Spelt Flour
Yeasted spelt bread doughs will rise, ripen and mature more quickly than ordinary doughs. This means spelt is especially good for quick and single rise breads as well as with double rise bread baking methods.
When adapting your favourite yeasted recipes for use with spelt flour you will need to reduce the proving times to prevent over ripening, which can cause the dough to collapse or produce a flying crust in baked bread. If for example the dough has doubled in size after 20 minutes rather than the 30 stated in a recipe, proceed to the next stage without delay. Bake as normal.
Treat spelt flour as a wholemeal flour in your baking.
In Bread Machines
The timing programmes on bread machines have been carefully devised for use with conventional wheat flours. As the proving time for spelt flour is much shorter than that for ordinary flour, bread made exclusively with spelt flour will rise and collapse before the machine’s baking cycle has completed.
However you can still enjoy spelt in your bread machine by blending it half and half with strong white bread flour. Alternatively run the dough programme, then place the dough on a baking tray, allow to rise and bake in a conventional oven.
Unique Characteristics
During cultivation the spelt plant has a strong resemblance to wheat, often grows vigorously, and takes on a burnished gold colour when ripening. Its widespread popularity indicates that spelt was adapted for growing in a wide variety of different soils and climates. The crop produces a long straight and robust straw which would have been very useful for thatching.
When harvested, the ears of spelt break into many spikelets with an inedible chaff encasing between one and three grains. The modern combine-harvester is unable to remove spelt chaff in its thrashing drum, so it harvests and delivers the whole spelt spikelets to the store or mill.
The inedible chaff that encase the grain are thought to offer the growing plant extra protection from disease and weather spoilage as well as making it less palatable to wild and grazing animals. The chaff encases and protects the grain from animal and storage pest damage between growing seasons, and also during storage before consumption. This also shrouds the seed making it less attractive to insects and animals during the crucial stages between planting, germination, and establishment of the crop.
Preparing The Grain
As simple threshing does not dislodge the grain from the inedible chaff, other strategies have been used over the centuries to prepare the grain for consumption. Historically this was done by vigorous rubbing and partly crushing the grain between pieces of stone. This action releases the grain, but can also partly break up the grain into a kind of meal. This would have been very desirable to ancient civilizations who could safely store the grain until required, then prepare it in one process by crushing. The inedible chaff would release the grains as it was crushed and ground, producing a very coarse flour ready for cooking. The unwanted chaff could easily be sieved out or blown away when the crushing process was finished.
Today mechanical removal at the mill ensures the inedible chaff is removed without damaging the spelt grain. When finally released from the chaff, spelt looks very similar to, if a little longer than, common wheat.

Jill's additional channelling today with Archangel Metatron: in her own words...
Suddenly, in my ear whilst in the depths of deep sleep... "As with the cycle of life, all things ebb and flow, yet as time moves on and we venture on in the name of progress and evolution, have we progressed and evolved negatively or positively?"
Being woken up at 3am in a morning to have an intense debate with Archangel Metatron on the cycle of life, is not what I would call ‘great timing’, but then again the words ‘great timing’ after our discussion became very important.
You see, we appear to have forgotten about timing. We have forgotten to take notice of the seasonal cycles; forgotten to listen to our bodies. Do we eat because we’re hungry? Or because we’ve been programmed to believe we should eat breakfast, lunch or dinner?
Metatron tells me it is so important to be aware of the world around us. The angels watch us as we take the path towards destruction, shaking their head in sorrow. For we have truly forgotten who we are, and the way we were meant to be.
Everything we ever need has already been created. Nutritionally, the foods of times gone by, grew at certain stages in time, for a reason. The foods grown years gone by were ‘in tune’ with our environment, our season, our bodies. Plants that grew in particular countries were there for a reason. They were provided to work ‘in tune’ with that particular climate, and the energy needs of our bodies in that climate. Herbs were created with a multitude of medicinal healing properties.
Mother Nature gave us 'what' we needed, 'when' we needed it. But, thanks to growing food with the use of chemicals and forcefully growing natural foods out of season, our bodies are at times receiving some nutrition at the wrong time; making it the 'wrong' type of nutrition. This creates dis-ease in our bodies and therefore creates disease over time.
The one word that Metatron and other angels continually use is ‘awareness’. Some call it the sixth sense, but honing in our abilities to be constantly aware of the energy around us is ‘key’ to helping us to be healthy and happy.
There will be many arguments that we can’t return to the old ways; but Metatron assures me that Mother Nature will re-balance the situation if we don’t. Some people have become used to seeing perfect vegetables and fruits, but a natural lemon grown in its own time, in balance with Mother Nature will bear you much higher energy and nutrients, than one that has been processed, coloured and covered in wax, just to look more alluring, intent on coercing you to buy.
We have to wake up from this nightmare we are living in. We are not living in balance with our planet. We’re stressing our planet and ourselves and we’ve allowed governments and chemical companies to keep a strangle hold on what we’ve become. Isn’t it about time we changed direction?
If we want our children to live a happy and healthier lifestyle, isn’t it about time we turned to our shops and demanded natural local produce? Long ago, certain seasons heralded special treats. I remember as a child, winter meant hearty stews and casseroles with dumplings, creamy rice pudding and mince pies.
Autumn was filled with home made soups, homemade jams, apple pies and best of all Yorkshire Parkin.
Summer held memories of succulent strawberries, salads made from home grown lettuce, spring onions, tomatoes, cucumber and radishes.
The fact that we can have them whenever we want, no longer brings those special memories. We’re spoilt for choice and duped into believing that the force-grown food still holds the same energy and nutritional value.
Long ago, there was no need for vitamin supplements, because Mother Nature provided us with what we needed. We spend billions on nutritional supplements and medicines, that in reality we don’t need ‘IF’ and it is a big 'IF', we return to eating foods when we should do.
Metatron also spoke to me about fasting. There is much written about fasting. Some people will have you believe it’s a great way to detoxify the body and others will tell you it’s bad for you. Metatron tells me that we cannot forcefully remove all the toxins we’ve put into our body by fasting. Metatron also tells me fasting to lose weight is the worst thing you can do to your own body, as this forces the body to regurgitate on the toxins that are already in the body, making your liver work overtime.
True fasting is done by reducing the quantity of food you take into the body. This enables it to regenerate itself. You can fast by eating home-made organic soups for one day and drinking plenty of water or herb tea. Alternatively you can fast on fruit again ensuring it contains no additives or chemicals.
Metatron tells me that once we adapt ourselves to eating in balance with Mother Nature's energies and our own energies, we will not desire such great quantities of food. Just one small meal of organic quality food, will give us more energy than three fast-food meals. What price do you put on 'your' health and your families health?
We have become lazy in our approach to the importance of feeding our bodies;not eating the correct energy foods at the correct times. We have fallen out of rhythm with Mother Earth.
We need to return to how the Egyptians, Jews, Romans and Greeks farmed their foods in Biblical times; and relearn how they used herbs to combat illness. The East, particularly China, has always held great reverence for herbs and their healing powers, and although we think we have come far, the day will come when we have to look back and relearn this valuable methodology.
God; light; the one conscious thought, is our greatest physician, for it is God; light; the one conscious thought that created us. That is why we have herbs and plants. The herbs and plants were not meant to be just mere taste enhancers, but to be there to prevent and cure any energy imbalances that we have.
When you prepare a meal, are the energies of the food balanced?
If you have a plant that has grown underground, it requires an opposite to bring it into balance, i.e. potatoes and peas. Alternatively, sprinkle whatever has grown underground with herbs to compliment and balance the energies.
Fruit should not be blended or mixed with protein. As with the circle of life, the rhythm or cycle of food is also important. Using astrology and Mother Nature, you will be able to recognise the time to sow seeds, the time to cultivate and the time to reap and harvest. When we do this, we will bring balance back to Earth (our home); and most importantly to ourselves.
