Chapter 12

Archangel Azrael: The ascension dilemma of mankind

Jill and I are sitting in the front room relaxing. Jill's content; cuddling up to me on the sofa.

Jill: He's back again.

Glenn: Who?

Jill: Archangel Azrael; who'd you think?

Glenn: What's he want?

Jill: He's very pleased with what you're doing. The Council of Elders are very happy with you.

Jill took hold of my left hand with her left hand, and placed her right hand over my left hand, patting as though she was petting a child in endearment. I laughed out loud. This was Archangel Azrael's sign that I recognised for the first time. Archangel Azrael was pleased with me, and this was his way of getting physical contact with me.

Jill slowly went from channelling into trance:

Archangel Azrael: It's a pleasure to be with you again my son.

Glenn: Nice to be with you too.

Archangel Azrael: We're very pleased with your progress, but we want you to include more of what people can do to ease their pain.

Glenn: In what way?

Archangel Azrael: Write about belief. Belief in themselves and belief in the after life. There are so many that don't believe.

Glenn: Why am I doing this?

Archangel Azrael: You are the chosen one my son.

Glenn: But why not Jill? Why me? Jill is the one who's gifted with channelling and trance to the spirit world. She's also a good speaker and she's had her pain too. Why me, when I can't communicate with you direct and Jill has so much knowledge of the spirit world?

Archangel Azrael: All in good time my son. Jill is there to teach you. She's a good woman. She's there to help you. You have the ability to reach the people and as you know, Jill is not long for the earth plane. You are destined to be there much longer; to heal and spread the world; to ease their pain. You must learn what you can from her. She's very special.

Glenn: But why can't I talk to you direct?

Archangel Azrael. You can my son.

Glenn: How?

Archangel Azrael: Learn to. Jill will show you how. You have too much negative energy at the moment for us to get through. First you must learn to meditate and clear your mind.

Glenn: What's the real purpose of all this?

Archangel Azrael: When the time comes and we lose two thirds of the people on this earth plane, many of them will not cross over because they don't believe. There are more people now than ever that don't believe in the afterlife. They have nothing to believe in; and first they must learn to believe in themselves.

Glenn: Just how many others 'are' there like me?

Archangel Azrael: 5000.

Glenn: Great! That makes me feel 'really' special. I thought I was your 'chosen' one.

(I'm starting to feel like Eddy Murphy here in' the film: The Golden Child')

Jill stirs and briefly comes back into channelling to tell me he's angry.

Glenn: Well that's OK; but first I'm the chosen one, and then he tells me there's 5000 others.

Archangel Azrael: Yes my son, there are 5000 others, but the vast majority don't possess the knowledge and the skills you have, to reach out to the people and make a change. Few of them are good at writing. This is your destiny. The Elders of the Council are looking to you to start the movement.

Glenn: This is going to take a great deal of my time. What about the contract you promised us? You promised us a contract to keep us stable.

Jill comes out into channelling again.

Jill: Glenn, he's getting really angry. He says you won't like him when he's angry. You're just like ‘him’. ‘You’ say that to people too.

Glenn: Well that's OK, but we can't survive in this house without bringing in some money to pay the bills.

Jill: He's angry now that you're bartering with him.

...and she drifts off again.

Archangel Azrael: I promised you I'd not let you down. Have we let you down before? Do you think it's a coincidence that work suddenly comes in when you're at a low ebb with your business? Have you ever gone without?

Glenn: No; but we've lost a lot and we don't want to lose all we've worked for and invested into this house.

Archangel Azrael: The house is a material thing. You can survive without material things. I promised you there would be affluence to come with this venture.

Glenn: That's not what we agreed earlier. You accepted that I needed the material things and that you would provide for us if I worked at this.

Jill: (channelling again and very alarmed) Glenn! He's really angry. I mean really, really angry! He's saying you shouldn't bargain with him. He's not used to people bargaining with him.

Glenn: No Jill! I'm not having this. Archangel Azrael; what's good for you is good for me. You've already bargained with me with Jill's life here on Earth. You bargained with her extension of time here, for the continuation of my writing and my help. I won't have this! You're changing the rules. If I'm to trust you, when we agree things we follow them through.

Archangel Azrael: I won't let you down my son. I won't fail you. I want you to start speaking in Churches and Ministries.

Glenn: Why?

Archangel Azrael: Because there are many people that go to them that don't believe. They're lost! They want to believe in God and the after-life, but they’re distracted by others and they're confused.

Glenn: You're going to have to help me here. There's very little budget in churches and ministries to give us an income and this is going to be very time consuming. You already know that we won't give up our material needs and we want to live comfortably. I don't agree that worship of your God, and belief in the after-life should go hand-in-hand with poor income, humbleness and poverty; or even giving everything away.

Archangel Azrael: We won't let you down my son. We won't fail you. We won't let you go without.

Glenn: OK, I'm happy to put the time in, if you're prepared to look after us.

Archangel Azrael. It's time for me to leave my son. We're very happy with you. We'll speak again.

Glenn: Look forward to it Archangel Azrael.
