A Sign from God?

Whilst baby-sitting my friends three year old daughter Chloe, during the evening she awoke and told me that she had seen my little boy and that he and an angel had asked her to let me know he was alright, and happy with his grandma. My son had died before Chloe was born. When I asked her what my son looked like, she described him exactly as I remembered, and also that he had his favourite bunny with him. His bunny had been placed in his coffin. She said not to be frightened and that he and the angel would always look after me. I really believe this was a sign from God that my son would always be with me.

Saved by an Angel

I believe in God and angels, you see, 'through God all things are possible' and that also includes talking with, and seeing angels.

Many years ago, I awoke to see an angel at the foot of my bed. The room felt very calm and peaceful. The angel said "Don't be alarmed, feel under your left arm" and then vanished into thin air. I felt under my arm and felt a lump I hadn't noticed before, but I felt strangely calm, as though everything would be OK. The next morning I saw my doctor who arranged all the necessary tests. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, after a series of chemo my doctor told me I'd been very lucky they had caught it just in time.. I still think to this day, if it hadn't been for that angel, I wouldn't be here today.

I would just like to share my experiences with an angel when I was young and how he has cropped up later on in life.

I lost my best friend to cystic fibrosis when he was 9 yrs old, I was 8. I was too young to understand and really make sense of my loss, and my parents didn't seem to be able to talk to me about it. My one comfort was an angel figure that came to me at night, said he was called Michael and that he had been sent to watch over me. I took this "dream" along with me as I grew older, but it gradually faded out of memory until last year during a meditation.

I was in a crystal temple on top of a tower, a dark man figure came towards me. Wings unfolded and my old friend Michael appeared, this time he said I needed courage to speak with others about my psychic and healing experiences...so, here I am!

Angels

First I remember was when I crossed a street and a car was speeding at me, the car stopped a few inches in front of me and as the policeman said it was like there was a huge weight on it making it stop. I know the only thing I could think of was that the angels helped stop that car so I could survive

Another time was some later, an angel guide came to bring me the message that my grandma had passed away, it hurt but it made a huge difference from hearing it otherwise.

I believe there are angels not only amongst us as some would call "unseen forces", but also among us human beings. I believe everyone can be an angel just as long as you make the effort to make a difference.

One night I was grieving for my dear nan who passed away a year at the time,I was laying in my bed and it was complete darkness,my bedroom door was open a little,and I happened to look at the door and I saw something that startled me but soon made me at ease. It was only what I can describe as an angel,it was a golden glow with a little girl with curls in her hair,she smiled at me and put her finger to her lip as to say don't cry,and put both her hands together and she lay them down as if she was to sleep,I instantly felt no more pain for my nan and fell asleep with great comfort.I never grieved like that for my nan again from that day.The thing is the little girl I saw almost looked like my nan when she was about 4years. Did I see an angel?

He tells me he prefers the term companion angel, though - but with a shrug and a small smile, because I can't get it out of my head to use the term guardian angel, lol! I'd never thought of angels having a sense of humour before!

Just last week, I was supposed to be going for an interview. I was really excited about it. I went to bed early, did my Charkra Cleansing CD, and sunk into a deep and blissful sleep. I rarely remember my dreams, but last Tuesday nights dream I remembered vividily. I dreamt I was dressed to go to the interview, and when I opened the door, there was a beautiful woman standing in the doorway. She had long silvery hair, and was sort of ageless (in the fact I couldn't tell how old she was). She smiled at me and told me that I was to stay home on Wednesday. I kept arguing with her that I needed a job, and in the end she smiled at me and said "you do but not this one" and gently laid her hand on my throat. When I woke up on Wednesday morning I had laryngitis. It only lasted for a the day, but it was enough for the employment agent to give the job to someone else. I don't know if she was an angel or not, but I believe she was, and that she was preventing me from making another mistake with my working life.

They are two of the experiences I have had. The first one I don't doubt for a second was an Angel experience, the second, well I have no reason to believe it was, but I don't doubt it.

I only have one strong experience with my Guardian Angel.  It happened more than 10 years ago.  I was out for an evening with friends and I was driving. There were 4 other passengers in my car.  The night was terrible, hard driving rain. The road I was traveling was very dark and there wasn't even any light coming from the headlights of other cars. I had never been on this road before and was unfamiliar with it.

I seemed to be traveling very fast down this road, faster than I had meant to be driving. I am known to be a "lead foot" but it was dawning on me that I needed to slow down and despite easing up on the accelerator and applying the brake, the car did not seem to slow at all.  It seemed to be going on it's own.  The road was so dark, I really couldn't see a thing. I felt like the car was accelerating all on it's own and suddenly, the steering wheel turned completely to the left and the car came to a complete stop. In the headlights of my car, we could all see that I was only inches away from falling into a ditch. The road had seemed to come to an end of sorts, they were doing construction or something but there were no signs or roadblocks up. 

We all sat there quite stunned for a few minutes. We all knew that we were just inches away from being killed or at least very seriously injured. I never talked about it for many, many years but I ALWAYS knew that my Guardian Angel had taken control of that car and turned the steering wheel and stopped the car. I always knew I had nothing to do with saving us from  falling into that ditch.

Until this thread I had never thought of my Angel's name. I actually thought that they didn't really have names, since names are a human characteristic and Angel's are not human but above us. In any case, as I sat here reading all your stories and names and prayed that I would learn my Angel's name. Suddenly it came to me, just popped into my head.  Her name is Grace.

A Guiding Hand

Last night after a nervous breakdown and seemingly impending complete meltdown, I finally went to rest for the night and an angel came to me. He told me his name but I cannot remember it anymore, I have been trying to figure it out but I don't think it is important. He was clearly male with a bluish presence in his aura, very muscular and strong and handsome. He came to me and calmed me down, assured me that all was okay, but that I needed to get back on the path I chose for this life or I would have to live additional lives in the future.

He took me inside of my soul and showed me my soul's design to help me see what I need to be doing in this life and how that idle, stagnant approach to life I've adopted is not only causing me problems in life, but is in conflict with the very nature of my soul. He also told me that I work in other dimensions as a lightworker, which is what I should be doing here. I just suffered a miscarriage and told me to expect the same son to come again, successfully, in 6 years.
